Soldier of love es una “balada”, una canción tranquila y relajada, y también poco conocida. Aunque lo de poco conocida es relativo, porque ya ha sido interpretada por The Beatles y recientemente por Pearl Jam, que la incluyó como parte de su Fan Club Christmas Single en 1998.
Siguiendole un poco las pistas encontré que la canción fue escrita por Buzz Cason, Tony Moon y grabada por Arthur Alexander en 1962, un año después The Beatles lanzan su cover y 36 años más tarde se úne Pearl Jam con su propia versión.
