Money it’s a hit

Money es una canción tan peculiar como sus creadores: Pink Floyd. Sobresaliente por la forma en que esta compuesta, para los entendidos, usaron 7/8 en vez de el tradicional 4/4 para los tiempos (por eso suena diferente) y la letra fue escrita por Roger Waters e interpretada por David Gilmour.

Cuando escuche Money me pareció una canción un tanto extraña así que busqué su historia, fue así como descubrí que en el 2003 Velvet Revolver hizo un cover de la canción para la película La gran estafa (The Italian Job), protagonizada por Mark Wahlberg y Charlize Theron.

No voy a negarlo, el estilo de Velvet Revolver va muy bien con la canción aunque no deja de ser extraño escuchar a Scott Weiland cantar esta canción.

El cover es más lento que la versión original y con un ritmo mucho más cadencioso. No podes dejar de escuchar esta versión y, por supuesto, la original de Pink Floyd.

Dicen que al sincronizar el album Dark side of the moon con el Mago de Oz la canción de Money aparece justo cuando la película se vuelve a color.

También dicen que Tarantino penso usar Money para la película Reservoir Dogs.
